Certificate Private Key sent separately in Top Secret

Issue/Introduction

A signed client certificate was purchased from a CA (Certificate Authority) and was sent in two parts.
One file contained the Public Key and a separate file contained the Private Key.
What needs to be done to pair the keys and make the certificate usable?

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA Top Secret for z/OS

Resolution

There is no way to merge the two parts (public and private keys) into one. 
The CA needs to reissue the certificate in one file that contains both the Private and Public keys.
