Issue/Introduction

How can I create a Blueprint Channel that links directly to a Jaspersoft report?

Environment

Release : 16.0.2

Component : Clarity MUX Blueprints and Administration

Resolution

You will need to obtain the direct link to a report.

1. Log into Clarity and click on Advance Reporting.

2. Click on View / Repository

3. Right click on the desired report

4. Click on "Run in the New Tab"

5. Copy the "URL"

6. Log into the Clarity Modern UX.

7. Go to "Administration", then "Blueprints"

8. Open the Blueprint, click "Edit", go to "Modules" and click the "New Channel" button.

9. In the Channel URL, paste the URL you obtained from above step.

Additional Information

Note, it's not possible to automatically run the report through a link. The link will only bring you to the report page, but the report will still need to be run with the desired filters.
