When we export/import knowledge articles it is importing articles in draft mode and making them published even when we choose only to import published articles. Is there a way to only import published articles?

when leveraging the Import/Export utility for Knowledge (Administration tab, Knowledge -> Documents -> Export/Import -> Export/Import Templates) one will need to create a new template and under the template's "Export Filter", under "Additional Filter", enter the argument "STATUS_ID=70".
