Endevor PTF LU00538 causes SYNC errors and Element Corruption if using ELIBS

Issue/Introduction

PTF LU00538 introduces the SYNC IN PLACE Enhancement  -  After applying this PTF it has been found that if the Base Library for the Endevor type is an ELIB, corruption and sync errors may occur. Symptoms you may see as a result  - 'SMGR063E  MEMBER NOT FOUND' message while performing the Sync in Place - Element is then corrupted.

Resolution

LU00538 has been marked in error and CORRECTED BY PTF LU01911

If PTF LU01911 can not be applied to the Endevor 18.1 CSI quickly - to circumvent the problem please disable the Sync in Place feature in ENCOPTBL and use either delete/add or move/transfer with sync to put an element back in sync.
