How to change the Icon of CI on Vizualizer.

Issue/Introduction

Description:

These are the updated instructions to change the visualizer icon for CMDB families in 12.7 and 12.9.

Environment

Release: CMDB 12.9,14.X 17.X

Resolution

Solution:

1. Open 'clientsvgfamilyimagemap.properties' and comment out the line (with a #) that corresponds to the family you would like to change the icon. The file is located in $NX_ROOT\bopcfg\www\CATALINA_BASE_VIZ\webapps\CMDBVisualizer\WEB-INF\classes\com\ca\cmdbvisualizer\config.
2. Open 'serverjpegfamilyimagemap.properties. and add the family class and image name (i.e. 300002=new_hardware_server.jpg). This file is also located in $NX_ROOT\bopcfg\www\CATALINA_BASE_VIZ\webapps\CMDBVisualizer\WEB-INF\classes\com\ca\cmdbvisualizer\config.
3. Create a resource subdirectory under $NX_ROOT\bopcfg\www\CATALINA_BASE_VIZ\webapps\CMDBVisualizer and place the image file mentioned in step #2 above into it.
4. Restart the Service Desk Manager service.
