Multiple Status Reports being created in New UX

Issue/Introduction

Multiple Status Reports are being created in new UX. Each time the status report is updated through the New UX a new version is created instead of the current version being updated.

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

 

• Project Manager rights
• For simplicity ensure you don’t have any status report

 

1. Login to Clarity and Navigate to Modern UX
2. Navigate to Project Grid/Tile and go to Status
3. On the Status module click on gear button to configure the status report and add Report Status Column on the status report
4. Now change the Report status to Final and Navigate back to any module like Tasks

 

5. Navigate to Reports Tab in status module to publish and you will see publish button is missing

6. Now navigate back to classic PPM or Status Report in modern UI and you will see two status report one with Status Final and one with draft

 

Expected Result: Post validation of live status report you will need to publish the report and now publish button is missing

Actual Result :  Multiple status reports are getting created due to this issue and publish button is missing

So in order to see publish the status report needs to be in draft status only.

Resolution

This is working as designed however product management is evaluating to improve the design

Workaround:

 

• Delete the status reports by going to Classic PPM and Status reports and delete the existing status reports
• Remove the Report status attribute from the configure the status report layout and you will see the publish button appears
