Unable to mask a column with VARBINARY datatype

Issue/Introduction

Unable to mask a column with datatype Varbinary. We are working masking of varbinary datatype column on SQLServer DB and tried using both Hashlov and Fixed valid binary value in FDM(Version:4.9.160.0).

Getting the rrror : java.lang.String cannot be cast to java.io.File

Cause

Product limitation.

Resolution

The patch build fix for this issue as FastDataMasker-4.9.178.0.zip can be downloaded from: TDM Support Patches

IMP. NOTE: VARBINARY datatype can be masked only with FIXED masking function
