Getting "Non HTTP response code: java.net.UnknownHostException " error 100% of the time in blazmeter on private location

Issue/Introduction

JMX script which runs with no problems from local workstation fails when executed from BlazeMeter on a Private Location agent fails 100% of the time with the following error:

Non HTTP response code: java.net.UnknownHostException

Environment

Release : SAAS

Component : BLAZEMETER PERFORMANCE TESTING

Cause

DNS issue on Private Location agents where the BlazeMeter JMX script is executed.

Resolution

This error is thrown because the BlazeMeter agent running on the configured Private Location system within the agent's network cannot resolve or reach the host configured in the HTTP/HTTPS request from the JMX script.

This could be because the system, which is hosting the local BlazeMeter Private Location agent, is not able to resolve the hostname to an IP address or the system does not have a route to the host.

This is most likely a DNS issue, where the agents are unable to resolve the hostname properly.  It will necessary to work with the Network team or the System Admin for the system hosting the local BlazeMeter Private Location agent to resolve this issue.
