We are getting duplicate email alert for job failure ... below is log for your reference :

Resolution

The rule was configured for message contains failure.

The event_demon log has two lines one for job failure and another for alarm job failure and hence two emails were triggered.

We modified the rule to use status contains failure and now it is only triggering a single email.
