Issue/Introduction

What does use_wfp_perf in the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\drveng\Parameters] path do?

The default setting value appears to be 1.

What does it mean when the setting value is 1?

Resolution

The setting of use_wfp_perf is for improving performance on network interception.

The default value is 1 and it means PIM driver uses the method that should improve the performance.

Please do not change this setting other than 1 as it will decline in performance and cause unexpected problems.
