WCC Agent Inventory - Agent actions do not work

Issue/Introduction

Agent actions from the WCC Agent Inventory tab, such as "View Agent Details" or "Stop Agent", do not work properly. 

"Download Logs", "View Agent Details", "Download AgentParams", and "Update AgentParams" fail with the following error...

ERROR: E140179 Unexpected error occurred while performing the agent action. File is not available

"Stop Agent" will show the Action Status as "Stopping" but it hangs in that status until the agent is manually restarted. It then changes to "Stop Failed".

"Restart Agent" will show the Action Status as "Restarting", but it hangs in that status until the agent is manually restarted. It then changes to "Restart Failed".

Release : 11.4/12.0

Component : WORKLOAD CONTROL CENTER

Resolution

Check the agentparm.txt file on the agent machine that is having the problem and make sure the following parameter is set...

oscomponent.noforceprofile=true

When this parameter is not set, or is set to 'false', the agent actions from WCC Agent Inventory do not work.
