CDD/Tomcat: This site can't be reached - After Adding Memory To Tomcat

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading the CDD QA server from 6.9 to 8.2 and assigning more memory to Tomcat, opening Tomcat URL shows:

This site can't be reached

<ip address> refused to connect.

Try:

• Checking the connection
• Checking the proxy and the firewall

ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

Cause

Opening the tomcat8-stdout.2021-06-15.log showed that Java could not support the amount of memory that had been allocated:

Resolution

Install 64-bit Java.
