DB job query mismatch

Issue/Introduction

We are querying the autosys ujo_ tables looking for current statuses and details but see some unexpected or inconsistent row / job counts.

Release : 12.0

Component : CA WORKLOAD AUTOMATION ADVANCED INTEGRATION FOR HADOOP

Resolution

The ujo_job_status value and ujo_job_runs status values for the job will/can change as jobs run.

If you are looking for specific status changes or alarms perhaps leverage ujo_alarm or ujo_proc_event.  

The autorep and monbro commands can display those types of details as well.

Please note:
We do not encourage clients to build custom queries and reporting by going against the db directly.  The schema is intended to be used by the product and it can/will change from version to version. So a custom query against version X may break when attempted against version X+1.  Also accessing the tables repeatedly by outside queries can impact the database's explain plan and performance.  It could negatively impact the products performance or the db's execution of the products queries.

If you are wanting some different behavior, or new reporting, or have some idea for the product that it does not offer currently we encourage you to post that as an "idea" on the communities site for the product mgmt team to take into consideration for the future.
