Issue/Introduction

We are trying to obtain a security exception for a Java vulnerability and per the exception version 1.8.0_291 or better is required.

Is there a time frame for DX NetOps Performance Management (PM) Performance Center (PC) web UI Portal updating to at least the AdoptOpenJDK version 1.8.0_291 update?

When will PC update to AdoptOpenJDK Java version 1.8.0_291 or newer?

All supported DX NetOps Performance Management releases

Resolution

Defect DE606655 has been opened with engineering to request the AdoptOpenJDK Java version be upgraded to release 1.8.0_291 or newer.

As of 2021-06-29 it was confirmed with engineering that there is no specific release targeted for this Java update.

There will be a Java update in the r21.2.x release stream. Which DX NetOps version/patch level it will be included in, and what specific Java version will be updated, is still to be determined.
