CA Identity Manager - Connector Server (Java) no longer in Windows Services menu

Issue/Introduction

Upgraded Identity Governance installation from version 14.3 CP2 to14.4.

As part of the upgrade process, the customer has also upgraded the Java Connector Server and C++ Connector Server bundled with the product, using the installer contained in the package GEN0000000004419.zip

After the upgrade of the connectors finished successfully, the JCS was no longer registered as a Windows service (only the C++ connector server was registered).

Could you please explain how to get the JCS registered as a Windows Service, like it was before the upgrade?

JCS.exe continues to run in task manager and working properly. 

The Identity Manager - Connector Server (Java) service disappeared.

Resolution

The service is no longer listed as "CA".  Scroll down in Windows Services menu and find the following "Symantec Identity Manager - Connector Server (Java)".  The same is true to Symantec Identity Manager - Connector Server (C++):

 

This was rebranded from CA to Symantec in 14.4.
