CA-Datacom and Multiple CA-7 instances

Issue/Introduction

We have a few systems that run as a DUPLEX and on each image in the DUPLEX there is an instance of CA7 running.   Does it matter which complex/system is running the CA7MUF for Datacom processing?

Resolution

The recommended best practice is to a have a separate MUF for each instance of CA 7. But you can have 1 MUF with multiple logical databases in it and it does not matter which lpar the MUF run on, as long as it is accessible from the other lpar.
