Issue/Introduction

The "Does match" filter produces empty termination status report when the jobstream name has parenthesis.

Example: JobStreamName \(Tue-Sat\)

Environment

Release : 6.3.0

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE ENGINE

Resolution

Edit Termination Status - Job Filter Tab

The Select Property button will open a window that allows the user to select job properties either By Category or By Name. Select one or more job properties by either double-clicking on a property, or by selecting one or more properties and clicking the button marked OK. Use the drop-down boxes to select jobs where a condition does or doesn't contain a case sensitive string using start withend withcontain, match, or exist.

If more than one desired property is entered, a drop-down box will appear where you can select all or any jobs matching the conditions that were selected.

Important!

To use the does match option in the filter, you must escape the parentheses ( and ) by using a \  in the Termination status filter. For example:

JobStreamName \(Tue-Sat\)

If you do not escape the parentheses, the result of the report will be empty.
