Cannot See Account Friendly Names anymore for AWS

Issue/Introduction

After the upgrade to 3.4.4 for the third party connections, S3 bucket mounts and even logging in with SSO credentials for AWS console we can no longer see account friendly names and only see access keys. this poses a huge problem for our end users not know which key to use by the access key. 

 

Environment

Release : 3.4

Component : PRIVILEGED ACCESS MANAGEMENT

Cause

A new feature was added to 3.4.4 to add search parameters for AWS Aliais ids and provided a switch for “Use ID” or “Use Alias” if desired. (Default: “Use ID”)   

Areas impacted:  UI  Reports  CLI

Resolution

Modifying the new configuration setting  under 3rd Party>AWS>AWS settings for "Use Alias" resolved the issue.
