API V3 throws error "Transaction:20086 doesn't have any response." when updating service

Issue/Introduction

When using update Virtual Service API V3 POST /vses/{vseName}/services/{virtualServiceName} with invalid RR pairs (Request file name and Response file name do not match) , getting the error "Transaction:20086 doesn't have any response.". Then try to add any other valid RR pairs but still get the same error.

Also, seen the deployed MAR file will delete all the added transactions once getting the error.

Cause

Defect. Using of invalid RR pairs (Request file name and Response file name do not match) in API V3 caused the issue.

Resolution

If anyone facing the same issue, please open a support case and refer DE506186 and request a patch.
