We are unable to see the topology in OneClick when you select the VNM model.

Issue/Introduction

We are unable to see the topology view in OneClick when you select the VNM model and all we see is a blank screen.

If we click the list view, we can see all devices are populated.

Environment

Spectrum 10.x / 20.x

Cause

Problem is general and appears to be related to database corruption for this landscape VNM model-

Resolution

Please make a backup of your SSdb database first.

 

1. Select the VNM model in the Navigation Pane
2. In contents pane select the List Tab and select the MLS model of type Landscape
3. In Component Detail pane select the attribute Tab and check the model_handle to use in step 5.
4. Open a bash shell , and connect to vnmsh for that landscape
5. Show associations mh=<model_handle from step 3>
6. destroy association rel=Collects lmh=<lmh> rmh=<rmh> . Take the lmh and rmh from show associations output in step 5.
7. create association rel=Collects lmh=<lmh> rmh=<rmh> . Take the lmh and rmh from show associations output in step 5
