Auto Discovery of SLCM Current Version Components failed

Issue/Introduction

When trying to upgrade CA Catalog, it says configuration failed .

install.log shows

[CurrentVersionDiscoverer] Auto Discovery of SLCM Current Version Components failed

Environment

Release : All releases (upgrade)

Component : CA SERVICE CATALOG

Cause

The file config.properties had lost all the database connection information or was corrupted

Resolution

Restored this file from a backup prior to starting the failed upgrade attempt.  Check for this file in both the Catalog install folder and the Catalog install folder's \view\conf location.
