Issue/Introduction

After applying maintenance to the CA Database Management Solutions for Db2 platform the post-install 0000 job's DDLCOMP step fails with the error RML#MERG 013-18 RC 54.

Cause

The ssidDLIN member used as input to the DDLCOMP step was missing from the .CDBASAMP.MAINT library.

Resolution

Reviewing the 0000 job output, the message IEC141I 013-18 was found and pointing to the .CDBASAMP.MAINT(DSNPDLIN) member.  This message indicates the subsystem's DLIN member (DSNPDLIN) was missing from the .CDBASAMP.MAINT library used in the DDLCOMP step.  The customer copied over the missing DSNPDLIN member from the original .CDBASAMP library where the 0000 jobs were initially generated to the .CDBASAMP.MAINT library used for the execution of the 0000 job.  Once the DSNPDLIN member was present in the new CDBASAMP.MAINT library the DDLCOMP step ran successfully.
