Installing Jasper 7.1.1 Java Version supported has a "FAIL" status

SOI Jasper Version: Jasper 7.1.1

SOI Version: SOI 4.2

 

Trying to install Jasper 7.1.1 and in the Installation Prerequisites window, Java Version supported has a "FAIL" status

Environment

Release : 4.2

Component : Service Operations Insight (SOI) Reports

Resolution

In the CABusinessIntelligence_install_2021_06_25_08_40_40.log, I see the following error

The system has variable pointing to the wrong path.

Jasper installation does not require a pre-install Java since it will use the JRE that came with the Jasper install media if it can't detect existing Java install.

Uninstall both JRE and JDK from the system and remove the JAVA_HOME and JRE_HOME variables.

 

Java Version supported status is now "PASS"
