Issue/Introduction

The following error messages:

EDC5139I Operation not permitted

is received when issuing the following commands:

CHGRP OMVSGRP /u/users/nfs/omlvl2/june1521/

CHOWN USER01 /u/users/nfs/omlvl2/june1521/

Resolution

User needs to have a UID(0).

TSS ADD(USER01) UID(0)

 

or superuser authority:

TSS PERMIT(acid) UNIXPRIV(SUPERUSER) ACC(READ)
