When launching this product, getting this Message: Multiple Launches of this installer is not allowed. It will now quit.

XCOM™ Data Transport® for UNIX/Linux PC

Resolution

It was necessary to use the  superuser password to install. 

Refer to this section in the online doc: Install or Upgrade in Console Mode: Before starting to install XCOM Data Transport for UNIX/Linux PC log on as superuser (root).
