Issue/Introduction

Users are unable to force complete active Application generations.  The applications that are in COMPLETE state do not clear from Monitor perspective.

The following message may be seen in the console (Desktop client)

The specified <job> is not an active <application> managed by the Manager

 

 

Environment

Release : 12.1 and higher

Component : Workload Automation DE (dSeries)

Cause

Issue may usually occurs if the DE Server was not properly shutdown or some error took place at database.

Resolution

Perform a cold start level 3 and specify the stuck Application generations in server runonce.properties file.  

Note: Cold start level 3 does not do a full cold start, it will only remove the specified Application generations.
