Issue/Introduction

The Performance tab is greyed out in Spectrum OneClick for Cisco UCS models.

The device in question has a sysObjectOID of 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.2493. This device is not certified in Spectrum 10.4.0 but is certified in Spectrum 10.4.3 using the GnCiscoDev model type.

The customer self certified this device in Spectrum 10.4.0 to use the GnCiscoDev model type.

Environment

Release : 10.4.x

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Cause

For the GnCiscoDev model type, Spectrum uses attributes in the ciscoMemoryPoolTable to compute the memory usage. Specifically the ciscoMemoryPoolFree attribute id 0x210a61 and ciscoMemoryPoolUsed attribute id  0x210a60. A query of this device showed these attributes are not populated.

For a CPU, Spectrum uses the cpmCPUTotal5min attribute id 0x210a6c from the cpmCPUTotalTable. A query of this device showed this attribute is not populated.

So this is an issue with the device not populating or supporting the attributes required in Spectrum for CPU and Memory.

Resolution

This is an issue with mib support on the device and will need to be taken up with the vendor.
