Resolution

The "Microsoft Software Assessment Task" follows the schedule specified under "Default Microsoft Update Configuration Policy", and this is found in the SMP Console > Settings > Agents/Plug-ins > Software > Patch Management > Windows. By default, this policy is turned off.
