Ghost compatability with Kioxia drives in Dell computers

Issue/Introduction

Unable to image systems with Kioxia  (Toshiba ) NVMe drive as ghost errors with: Source drive is invalid

Within system information the device has PNP Device ID: PCI\VEN_1E0F&DEV_0001

Environment

Release : 3.3

 

Cause

There is not a preboot RAID driver available for this drive at this time

Resolution

A work around is to set storage device to AHCI mode within the BIOS then proceed with imaging
