Issue/Introduction

During installation of CA Database Management Solutions for IMS for z/OS r20, encountering the following
errors during the APPLY CHECK execution:

 
GIM41802I    JCLIN PROCESSING WAS SUCCESSFUL FOR SYSMOD CIXEK00.                
GIM54701E ** ALLOCATION FAILED FOR CITKUSS - IKJ56228I PATH /xxx/xxxxxxxxx/CA/ NOT IN CATALOG OR CATALOG CAN NOT BE
             ACCESSED.                                                          
GIM28301E ** ALLOCATION FAILED FOR CITKUSS, WHICH IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO PROCES
             CITKK00.                                                           
GIM39307I    ALLOCATION FAILED FOR CITKUSS, WHICH IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO INVOKE
             IN SYSMOD CITKK00.                                                 
GIM22601I    APPLY PROCESSING FAILED FOR SYSMOD CITKK00.

Resolution

Verify the following hlq.SAMPJCL members were successfully customized and executed:

IMT03ALU
IMT06MKD
IMT15CSU

The error appears related to DDDEF(CITKUSS) for USS.  Verify the FILESYSTEM is mounted
at the correct MOUNTPOINT which is step MOUNT2 in member IMT06MKD.

All of the IMS tools are dependent on FMID CITKK00 except if
installing only CA Compress Data Compression for IMS for z/OS and
the compress ISPF dialog panels are not required.

IMT06MKD- Allocate product USS Directories (Only required if installing CITKK00)
