Issue/Introduction

Even after Enable Notification remote from Alert Manger configuration, and restart AP, we still cannot open directly from Alert Manager web page unless we do refresh or open URL http://hostname:8080/caapnfy/default.jsp directly.

If we click in Notification Manager from Alert Manager web page, it open as http://hostname:8080/caapnfy/default.jsp which we got HTTP 403.

 

Environment

Release : 11.7

Component : CA Automation Point

Resolution

1) Notification Manager still uses Apache Tomcat so the port must be the one used by this Web server (default 8080)

2) Apache Tomcat service must be active (for the same reason)

3) Include the full Notification Manager URL in the corresponding field of the Alert Manager control panel For example:

http://xxxxx.broadcom.com:8080/caapnfy/default.jsp
