Issue/Introduction

Enable Notification remote from Alert Manger configuration, and a restart AP, still does not open Notification Manage directly from Alert Manager web page. A refresh or open URL http://hostname:8080/caapnfy/default.jsp directly is needed.

A click in Notification Manager from Alert Manager web page, opens as http://hostname:8080/caapnfy/default.jsp which receives HTTP 403.

Environment

 

 

Resolution

  1. Notification Manager still uses Apache Tomcat so the port must be the one used by this Web server (default 8080)
  2. Apache Tomcat service must be active (for the same reason)
  3. Include the full Notification Manager URL in the corresponding field of the Alert Manager control panel For example: http://xxxxx.broadcom.com:8080/caapnfy/default.jsp
