Should the Spectrum processes be shutdown when increasing memory and/or CPU on the system?

We are planning on increasing the CPU and memory on the system where Spectrum is installed. 

Should the Spectrum processes be shutdown first?

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Resolution

Yes, it is recommended to shutdown the Spectrum processes before increasing the CPU and memory. Then, after a reboot, bring up the Spectrum processes as normal.
