Jaspersoft Project Management Domain Adhoc Views Error After Upgrade

Issue/Introduction

Post 15.9.2 upgrade, the project management domain is broken and users are no longer able to write existing and new ADHOC reports against the domain.

 

Not able to edit project management domain via domain designer. 

 

Ran the Domain Restore Job without success.

 

Environment

Clarity 15.9.2

Cause

This is caused by a synchronization issue between the included custom attributes in the DWH and the Jaspersoft domain. 

 

Resolution

To resolve the issue:

A. From Clarity Reports and jobs > Run the 'Restore Domain' job 

B. Exclude the custom attributes from the Project object.

1. Go to Administration - Objects - Project
2. Filter for custom-seeded attributes and Datawarehouse flag set to 'Yes'
3. Select All custom attributes in the list
4. Select all the attributes in the list and click "Exclude from Datawarehouse"
5. Save
6. Run a Load Datawarehouse job with Full Load

C. Include the custom attributes from the Project object.

1. Proceed to include the custom attributes back to Datawarehouse.
2. Run a Load Datawarehouse job with Full Load

To prevent the issue from occurring, be sure to pause any scheduled or waiting Load Data Warehouse jobs ahead of a planned upgrade.
