Unknown error or access denied while exporting japsersoft adhoc views

Issue/Introduction

1. Create a jaspersoft user with the following jaspersoft roles:
   ROLE_USER
   ROLE_ADHOC_DESIGNER
   ROLE_DASHBOARD_DESIGNER
   CSK_ROLE_PROJECT_MANAGEMENT
   
   
   
2. Create an adhoc view/report and try exporting the report to PDF.

Expected result: The user is able to create Ad hoc views but not able to export the views.

Actual result: Advanced reporting user not able to export adhoc reports. The user finds "Unknown error" and "Access Denied". The browser trace shows status 403.

 

Environment

Clarity 16.0.2 and Jaspersoft 7.8

Resolution

As per the current Jaspersoft role management design, in order for the the adhoc view/report export functionality to be successful the report user must be assigned the jaspersoft role "ROLE_REPORT_DESIGNER".
