ODATA unavailable - Error: "Odata: Request failed: The server committed a protocol violation."

Issue/Introduction

Odata service is unavailable and we are unable to update the data. While attempting to refresh our PowerBI report the following error occurs:

Last refresh failed

There was an error when processing the data in the dataset

Processing error: Odata: Request failed: The server committed a protocol violation. 

Going to the v4 URL gives error: The service is currently unavailable

Other errors you may see:

• "Unable to complete action. Service Unavailable. Check to make sure the service is running"
• Error 503

Resolution

Please contact Broadcom support for assistance with this issue.

Note: Once the issue is resolved you may need to run the Refresh Data Warehouse OData Model job in order for Power BI to work successfully.
