Issue/Introduction

When we populate a plan from Investment Team we are finding a transclass that is not part of the team.

Environment

Release : 15.7.1

Component : CA PPM FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

Cause

The transclass as well as resource class used on the cost plan are the ones associated with the project role, not the primary role.

Therefore if you have a primary role as Developer but on the project the role is Business Analyst, the transclass will be the one associated with Business Analyst role.

Resolution

To analyze which role may be causing the issue, create a cost plan using grouping attributes 'Resource/Role/Transclass'

Then determine if the project role is incorrect or if the transclass is incorrect for that project role.
