Issue/Introduction

The calendar window on Modern User Experience (UX) grids and flyouts get cut off for some rows. The number of rows impacted can depend on your browser zoom size and the number of rows listed. This can be seen with both the Start and Finish fields. It happens on multiple grids including the Tasks and Staff grid. The scrolling calendar is only partially visible. The bottom part of the month or the last day of the calendar (Saturday) may be cut off.

Steps to Reproduce:

Use case 1: From Grid view

  1. Set your browser zoom to 100% or higher (The issue is more noticeable in higher zoom)
  2. Open a project in the Modern UX
  3. Add 15 team members to the project
  4. Click on the Start date field for the 10th team member, then click on the Calendar icon

Expected Results: The calendar is fully visible

Actual Results: The scrolling calendar is partially visible. The bottom part gets cut off

Use case 2: From the Assignment details flyout

  1. Set your browser zoom to 100% or higher (The issue is more noticeable in higher zoom)
  2. Open a project in the Modern UX
  3. Add at least 8 team members to the project
  4. Go to the Task grid on the project
  5. Create a task
  6. Click on the task, then click on the Details flyout
  7. Click on the Assignments tab
  8. Assign 8 resources
  9. Double click on the Start date field for the 8th assignment and click on the Calendar

Expected Results: The calendar is fully visible

Actual Results: The scrolling calendar is partially visible. (The bottom part of the month or the last day of the calendar (Saturday) may be cut off)

Note: How much that gets cut off and for which team member(s) can vary based on your screen display size (along with your browser zoom level)

Environment

Clarity 15.9.3, 16.0

Cause

This is caused by DE62812

Resolution

Fixed in 16.0.1

Workarounds:

  • Workaround 1: Reduce the web browser zoom level. This may not fully work around the issue depending on the # of assignments and which assignment is being edited. (Example: At a zoom level of 75%, if you have 11 assignments and click on the Start field for the 5th assignment, you can see part of the calendar cut off still.)

  • Workaround 2: Manually type in the date versus clicking on the calendar.
