Issue/Introduction

Threshold Engine showing degraded shortly after applying policy on Virtual Interfaces, even when there are not many items being evaluates

Environment

VNA and Performance Management < 21.2.1

Cause

For some items, mainly SDN tunnels, Performance Management recorded multiple entries for each data insert.  This duplication compounded the overhead of Threshold Monitoring which invoked the Threshold Monitoring Limiter

Resolution

Via DE498335, the underlying issue will be fixed in 21.2.1
