What is simply_fast.py and why is it still running after stopping the Vertica management agent?
Environment
All supported releases of Performance Management
Cause
The simply_fast processes monitor nodes in the Vertica cluster on behalf of the Management Console (MC).
Resolution
If after following the below KB article the process running simply_fast.py is still running you can do one of two things:
1. Stop Vertica and restart the operating system
2. Kill the process
