Some devices in Spectrum are missing from CABI JasperServer Chassis Asset Report

Issue/Introduction

When a Chassis report is run in CABI JasperServer (6.4.3 or 7.1.1), there are a few missing devices which are in the Spectrum chassis manager.

Environment

DX NetOps Spectrum 20.2.x

CABI JasperServer 6.4.3 or later

Resolution

The physical indexes of 0,3,9 are the only ones that are shown in the Jasper Report. So we only show physical modules/switches in the Jasper Chassis report and not virtual ones.

If the device doesn't have any of these indexes, then it will not show up.

This is the reason you see the difference between the Jasper report and what you see in Chassis Manager, which will include the virtual elements.
