Active Directory Connector job failure

Issue/Introduction

The Bay Dynamics AD Connector Job fails and returns the following error (located in the Log File Viewer under selected row details):

The process could not be created for step 1 of job <job_name> (reason: The system cannot find the file specified). The step failed.

Environment

Release : 6.5.x

Component : Active Directory Connector

Cause

The path to the ImportADUsersAndComputers.exe executable specified in the Data Import Step is invalid.

Resolution

Locate the executable ImportADUsersAndComputers.exe and update the Data Import Step of the Bay Dynamics AD Connector Job to reference the correct path.

1. Using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), connect to the database engine hosting the RiskFabric database
2. In Object Explorer, navigate to SQL Server Agent > Jobs
3. Right-click the job Bay Dynamics AD Connector Job and select Properties
4. In the Job Properties window, select the Steps page
5. Click the Edit button
6. Modify the path to use either the local or UNC path to the ImportADUsersAndComputers.exe executable
7. Click the OK button
8. Click the OK button
