Disable VM Discovery from Azure Probe

Issue/Introduction

We have configured Azure Probe to monitor the Azure environment. We only want to monitor the overall environment and not the individual machines, but they keep getting discovered.  So we want to disable the discovery of  the guest VMs from the Azure probe. Is this possible?

Environment

Release : 20.4

Component : UIM - AZURE

Resolution

The Azure probe does not allow discovery of guest VM's to be disabled.

You can select the individual machines (Operator Console on the Inventory page) and choose to delete them - when prompted, check the box for "prevent rediscovery" and this will block the Azure VM's from returning.
