Issue/Introduction

When installing a Rally work item connector, install_gems.rb fails with the following error:

# ruby install_gems.rb
ERROR:  While executing gem ... (OptionParser::InvalidOption)
    invalid option: --no-ri

This error repeats several times

Cause

This is caused by trying to use an unsupported version of Ruby gem to install the connector.  Version 3.0+ has deprecated the --no-ri option. 

Resolution

In order to ensure you have the correct version of gem, ensure you are installing the Ruby 2.2.6 bundle as this is the supported version of Ruby for work item connectors.
