Issue/Introduction

Will updates to the CF structure be updated in the ACF2 DASD databases? And vice versa, will a change to the ACF2 DASD databases be updated in the CF structure?

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA ACF2 for z/OS

Resolution

The CF is only used for individual read requests. Any read for updates(or updates) are done to the database before the update occurs in the Coupling Facility. Also note that a sequential read such as a TSO, ACF, LIST like(mask) would be done to the database rather than to the Coupling Facility.
