Endpoint Protection Manager Repair asking for the MSI file

Issue/Introduction

When running a Repair from Control Panel for Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager, it prompts for an MSI file.

The install was done via the EXE file, so no MSI is available. Where can I get the MSI?

Cause

Windows MSI cache is missing the MSI file needed to run a repair.

Resolution

The EXE used to install SEPM can be extracted using 7-zip or a similar archival program. The MSI file is included therein.

You can also run the EXE and choose the install option at the splash menu to bring up the option to repair.
