Getting error 'You are not authorized to upload documents' in the New UX

Issue/Introduction

In the Modern UX, users are receiving an error that they cannot upload documents, 'You are not authorized to upload documents':

 

 

despite being a collaboration manager and showing that they have read-write access

Additionally I cannot identify a right to manually assign them to be able to read/write outside of participant/collaboration

Environment

Release : 15.8.1

Component : CA PPM STUDIO

Resolution

The user must be added to the project as a team member AND be granted Project-Edit access rights.

If Project-Edit rights are not desired, as a workaround the user can use Classic UX to upload documents
