File Monitor jobs shows "Scan Failed" status, network drive or file-share

Issue/Introduction

File monitor job fails with status "Scan Failed".  The user can access the directory location by logging on to the machine.

Component : CA Workload Automation System Agent

Cause

The user does not have read or traverse access to every upper directory in the file share path. The agent uses recursive to go from top level directory or folder to bottom.  If the Agent is unable to list or read a directory the job results in failure.

Resolution

Provide traverse and list to all the upper folders so that WA Agent can go down to the last folder and start monitoring for the file.
