Utility models excluded

Products

• Database Management for DB2 for z/OS - Administration Suite
• RC/Migrator for DB2 for z/OS
• RC/Update for DB2 for z/OS

Issue/Introduction

After applying maintenance to r20, some utilities are showing as excluded in RC/Migrator Model Services. Users are not able to activate the excluded utilities.

Also a strategy analysis may fail with the following error:

RMA209E ALL UNLOAD UTILITY MODELS EXCLUDED, NO UNLOADS GENERATED  
      RC/MIGRATOR ANALYSIS TERMINATING

Component : CA RC/Migrator for DB2 for z/OS

Resolution

This is a known problem on r20 and is resolved with PTF LU00914.

The utilities will be re-activated automatically after applying this fix. There should be no need for any manual intervention.
