RCO0013E Upgrading of CA DB2 tools job 0001 fails

Issue/Introduction

During the upgrade of CA DB2 tools

Received a RC=8 for the 0001 job as this tried executing the DB2PDDL DDL.

This generated DDL was invalid after the RC/Compare job in installation job 0000. 

 

In the DDL file had the following for the creation of the tablespace and tables. Indexes contained DDL. 

RCO0013E: Internal Error service(ZOMPDCNV) RC=12   ;88   ,156

Resolution

RCO0013E: Internal Error service(ZOMPDCNV) RC=12   ;88   ,156

Means you need access to the OMVS segment.
