Issue/Introduction

Started the Test but test is not starting.  Clicking start or waiting for the test to start yields nothing. Eventually the test is dying.  The report doesn't show any data, which indicates test didn't run.

Cause

Windows OPL supports a maximum heap size of 1GB but it is configured to 4GB which caused the issue. The bzt.log and jmeter.error shows the below:

Invalid maximum heap size: -Xmx4096m The specified size exceeds the maximum representable size. Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.

Resolution

Changing the JVM Parameter XMX to 1024 in the Advanced option of Private Location  as in the below screenshot resolved the issue.
